Above. ORM Contracting using an excavator to remove debris from the rear two-story structures.
On a frigid winter day (1.16.2025), snowflakes swirled through the air as the sounds of crunching wood, metal, and masonry created a striking scene. With a plan in place for the safe demolition of the rear structures, Odell Minniefield Jr. and his crew at ORM Contracting brought in their CAT 316F hydraulic excavator accelerating the pace of structure and debris removal.
1. Rear two-story structures before excavator arrival. 2. Demolition of the rear two-story structures. 3. View from second floor, north, of the rear structure demolition.
Future work anticipated:
Begin interior demolition of the three-story building.
Continue exterior demolition of the rear two-story structures.
