Etna EcoPark Celebration is October 9th

Updated: Sep 17, 2021

Mark your calendars for the Etna EcoPark Celebration. The free and open-to-the-public event will be held on October 9th from 4-7 PM. The event will include speeches by officials and stakeholders who were instrumental in bringing the park to life. It will also showcase live music, tours of the park's features, food, and other activities.

The creation of Etna EcoPark was a labor of love and a collaboration between Etna Borough, the Etna Community Organization, and the Triboro Ecodistrict. It was completed with the help of community volunteers, paid professionals, professionals who donated their services, and a big helping hand from the Etna Public Works Department. It is our wish that everyone who played a part in bringing EcoPark to life, whether it was digging the debris-filled earth or donating funds, will join us for this celebration. In addition, we invite all of our neighbors to come out and learn about the process of creating the park, and the special features that are incorporated into it.

So, mark your calendars, and let's celebrate a great new public space in our community!
